Lasagna Recipe

Lasagna
I love pasta and aside from pizza, lasagna is my favorite. I always cook lasagna whenever I want to eat something delicious and will satisfy my taste buds. :D

My recipe is very simple and easy to make. In the Philippines, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese are a bit expensive so I used alternatives.

Hope you'll try and cook some! :)

What you need:

9 pcs lasagna noodles
2 tbsp Olive oil
4 Cloves Garlic, minced
1 Onion, medium sized, minced
500 grms Ground beef
1 Small can button mushroom whole and cut in halves (depends if you want to cut in more pieces)
4 pcs Sweet ham

1/3 cup Parsley, chopped
1 kilo Pasta sauce (I used Del Monte sweet style Spaghetti Sauce)
pepper and salt to taste
1/2 cup QuickMelt Cheese
1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese
* If you have Mozzarella cheese, it's better or Parmesan cheese

Procedure:

Part I
Bring lasagna pasta to boil until cooked and set aside.

Meat Sauce

1- Saute garlic and onion in a saucepan in olive oil until brown.
2- Add beef and stir until brown.
3- Add mushroom and ham.
4- Dash salt and pepper and stir until cooked.
5-  Add pasta sauce and parsley
6- Stir continously for 5 minutes in medium heat until sauce is cooked.

Part II
1- To assemble, spread sauce at the bottom of the pan (10x14).
2- Arrange 3 noodles lengthwise over meat sauce.
3- Repeat layers, and top with remaining QuickMelth and Cheddar cheese.
* If you have Mozzarella cheese, it's better or Parmesan cheese

Enjoy cooking and eating! :)
